Out of the Glass Case Movie Night – Kingscote Town Hall
The Out of the Glass Case program saw the South Australian Museum travelling to Kingscote, Kangaroo Island on Saturday the 8th of April 2017. The Out of the Glass Case program is an innovative initiative that supports lifelong learning in all communities. It brings the Museum to regional, rural and remote areas of South Australia.
During the day the South Australian Museum set up a ‘discovery centre/fossil identification lab’, where they invited the community to bring any fossils or objects that they wanted identified.
That afternoon the South Australian Museum’s Dr Diego C. Garcia-Bellido presented a Sprigg lecture on 500-million-year-old aliens from Kangaroo Island! Followed by a free movie screening of a Night at the Museum.
Our 4m Wide Screen Mobile Cinema, set up for the evening screening of ‘Night At The Museum’
